Under section 68 of the Public Health Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Health Regions Regulation - Public Health Act.
Health regions
2The following health regions are established for the purposes of the Public Health Act:
(a) Region 1 − the areas served by the Kent Regional Service Commission and the Southeast Regional Service Commission;
(b) Region 2 − the areas served by the Kings Regional Service Commission, the Fundy Regional Service Commission and the Southwest New Brunswick Regional Service Commission, excluding the Village of McAdam and the portion of the Southwest rural district located in York County;
(c) Region 3 − the Village of Doaktown, Upper Miramichi, the Village of McAdam, the portion of the Southwest rural district located in York County and the areas served by the Capital Regional Service Commission and the Western Valley Regional Service Commission;
(d) Region 4 − the area served by the Northwest Regional Service Commission;
(e) Region 5 − the area served by the Restigouche Regional Service Commission;
(f) Region 6 − the areas served by the Chaleur Regional Service Commission and the Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission, excluding Neguac; and
(g) Region 7 − Neguac and the area served by the Greater Miramichi Regional Service Commission, excluding the Village of Doaktown and Upper Miramichi.

Commencement
3This Regulation comes into force on November 20, 2009.
N.B. This Regulation is consolidated to January 1, 2023.
