Under section 22 of the Underground Storage Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Fees Regulation - Underground Storage Act.
Definition of “Act”
2In this Regulation, “Act” means the Underground Storage Act.
Application fees
3For the purposes of the Act and this Regulation, application fees are prescribed as follows:
(a)underground storage exploration
licence..............
$250.00;
 
(b)storage lease..............
$250.00;
 
(c)construction permit..............
$250.00.
Rental fee
4(1)An applicant for an underground storage exploration licence shall pay a rental fee of $0.50 for each hectare covered by the licence.
4(2)A rental fee of $0.50 for each hectare covered by the licence is due and payable in the second and third years of the underground storage exploration licence on or before the anniversary date of the granting of the licence.
Exploration work
5For the purposes of subsection 8(2) of the Act, the extent and value of exploration work to be performed by the holder of an underground storage exploration licence shall not be less than
(a) $0.62 per hectare per year during the first year of the licence;
(b) $1.50 per hectare per year during the second year of the licence; and
(c) $2.25 per hectare per year during the third year of the licence.
