REGULATION 85-26

Community Planning Act

Under subsection 5(1) of the Community Planning Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, makes the following Order:

1This Order may be cited as the Planning Regions Order - Community Planning Act.
2For the purposes of the Community Planning Act, the Province is divided into the following seven planning regions:
(a) Campbellton - Dalhousie Planning Region, containing Restigouche County except the parish of Durham;
(b) Bathurst Planning Region, containing Gloucester County and the parish of Durham in Restigouche County;
(c) Newcastle - Chatham Planning Region, containing Northumberland County except the parishes of Ludlow and Blissfield;
(d) Moncton Planning Region, containing the counties of Kent, Westmorland and Albert;
(e) Saint John Planning Region, containing the counties of Charlotte, Saint John and Kings and the parishes of Petersville, Hampstead and Brunswick in Queens County;
(f) Fredericton Planning Region, containing the counties of Carleton, York and Sunbury, Victoria County except the parishes of Drummond and Grand Falls, Queens County except the parishes of Petersville, Hampstead and Brunswick, and the parishes of Ludlow and Blissfield in Northumberland County; and
(g) Edmundston Planning Region, containing Madawaska County and the parishes of Drummond and Grand Falls in Victoria County.
