Under subsection 102(4) of the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Standards RegulationPublic Service Labour Relations Act.
Definition of “Act”
2In this Regulation, “Act” means the Public Service Labour Relations Act.
Standards
3For the purposes of paragraph 102(3)(b) of the Act, an employee who is picketing or participating in a parade or demonstration in or near a place of business of the employer shall comply with the following standards:
(a) the picketing, parade or demonstration must be peaceful;
(b) preventing access to or exit from the place of business of the employer or in any other manner interfering with the delivery of services by the employer is prohibited;
(c) intimidating or otherwise preventing others from crossing the picket line is prohibited; and
(d) threatening the health, safety or security of others is prohibited.
