Under section 23 of the Provincial Court Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Fees Regulation - Provincial Court Act.
Fees
2The following fees are payable for services provided by the court:
(a) for a photocopy of a document - $0.50 per page;
(b) for a certificate of conviction in respect of an offence under a federal Act - $25.
Exemptions
3The following persons are exempt from paying the fees prescribed in section 2:
(a) an agent of the Attorney General of New Brunswick;
(b) a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police;
(c) a member of a police force governed by the Police Act;
(d) a person who has enforcement responsibilities under an Act of the Legislative Assembly or under an Act of the Parliament of Canada; and
(e) a person who is a party to a legal proceeding for which legal aid services are being provided under the Legal Aid Act.

Commencement
4This Regulation comes into force on August 1, 2009.
