Under section 21 of the Electoral Boundaries and Representation Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulation:
Repealed: 2013-46
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Electoral Districts Boundaries Regulation - Electoral Boundaries and Representation Act.
Interpretation
2In the boundary description of an electoral district in Schedule A
(a) a reference to a “city”, “town” or “village” refers to a city, town or village named and described in New Brunswick Regulation 85-6 under the Municipalities Act as of March 24, 2006,
(b) a reference to a “county” refers to a county named and described in the Territorial Division Act,
(c) a reference to a “local service district” refers to a local service district named and described in New Brunswick Regulation 84-168 under the Municipalities Act as of March 24, 2006,
(d) a reference to a “parish” refers to a parish named and described in the Territorial Division Act,
(e) a reference to a “PID” refers to a parcel identification number shown on the Property Reference Maps of Service New Brunswick as of March 24, 2006,
(f) a reference to a “Reserve” refers to an Indian Reserve described in the Indian Lands Registry maintained by the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada as of March 24, 2006, and
(g) a reference to a “rural community” refers to a rural community named and described in New Brunswick Regulation 95-36 under the Municipalities Act as of March 24, 2006.

3The boundary description and name of each electoral district is as set out in Schedule A.
Commencement
4This Regulation comes into force on the first dissolution of the Legislative Assembly after March 24, 2006.

1CAMPBELLTON-RESTIGOUCHE CENTRE consists of those portions of Restigouche County and Northumberland County described as follows:

Beginning at the point where the western boundary of the Province of New Brunswick meets the boundary between Restigouche County and Madawaska County; thence southeasterly along the northern boundary of Madawaska County to the western boundary of Rivière-Verte Parish; thence southwesterly and continuing along the said boundary to the northern boundary of the city of Edmundston; thence northwesterly and continuing along the said boundary to the southwestern banks or shores of the Madawaska River, also being a point on the parish line between Saint-Jacques Parish and Madawaska Parish; thence northwesterly and continuing along the said parish line to the northwestern prolongation of the southwestern boundary of the lot having PID #35165703; thence southeasterly along the said prolongation and boundary and continuing along its southeastern boundary to the northwestern prolongation of the eastern boundary of the lot having PID #35149848; thence southeasterly along the said prolongation and boundary to the northeastern corner of the lot having PID #35148071; thence southeasterly along the eastern boundary of the said lot and its prolongation to the Saint John River; thence southwesterly and continuing along the said river to the northern boundary of the Province of New Brunswick; thence northeasterly and continuing along the said boundary to the place of beginning, including a portion of the city of Edmundston, the villages of Baker-Brook, Clair and Lac Baker, the Village of Saint-François de Madawaska and the Village de St. Hilaire.
