REGULATION 82-5
under the
Marshland Reclamation Act
(O.C. 82-14)

  Under section 43 of the Marshland Reclamation Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
1This Regulation may be cited as the Reports and Returns by Marsh Bodies Regulation - Marshland Reclamation Act.
2In this Regulation
“Executive Committee” means the Executive Committee of a Marsh Body established as set forth in the Marshland Reclamation Act.
3The Executive Committee of a Marsh Body shall, on or before the first day of May in each year, file or cause to be filed with the Secretary of the Commission the following statements of the Marsh Body, verified by the auditor:
(a) a statement of receipts and payments for the preceding fiscal year;
(b) a statement of assets and liabilities as at the end of the preceding fiscal year;
(c) a statement of the special reserve fund showing the application of money in the said fund; and
(d) a statement of unpaid assessments classified as follows:
(i) those on which a demand has not been made,
(ii) those on which a demand has been made, and
(iii) those on which an execution has been issued.
4The Executive Committee of a Marsh Body shall, on or before the first day of May in each year, file or cause to be filed with the Secretary of the Commission the following:
(a) a copy of the minutes of the last annual meeting; and
(b) a copy of the budget, approved by the Marsh Body, of the estimated amount required for the purposes of the Marsh Body for the current year.
5Regulation 99, Statutory Orders and Regulations, 1963, under the Marshland Reclamation Act is repealed.
