NEW BRUNSWICK
REGULATION 2022-71
under the
Motor Vehicle Act
(O.C. 2022-275)

Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 89-65 under the Motor Vehicle Act is amended by repealing the definition “special permit” and substituting the following:
“special permit”
means a special permit issued by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure under section 261 of the Act for a vehicle or combination of vehicles, with or without load.

Section 15.1 of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted:
15.1
(1)
The fee for the modification of a special permit is $55.
15.1
(2)
Despite subsection (1), no fee is payable for the modification of a special permit as a result of
(
a
)
an error that occurred when processing the request for the special permit or when issuing the special permit, or
(
b
)
an unplanned traffic detour.

The Regulation is amended by adding after section 15.1 the following:

(1)
