1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 2008-112 under the Gaming Control Act is amended by repealing the definition “Corporation”.
2Paragraph 6(f) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “$500” and substituting “$2,500”.
3The heading “Acquisition of video gaming device” preceding section 8 of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted: 
Acquisition and placement of video gaming device
4Section 8 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by renumbering the section as subsection 8(1);
(b) by adding after subsection (1) the following: 
8(2)ALC may, in accordance with the strategies and policies established by the ALC and approved by the Corporation, place video gaming devices in approved premises.
5Section 9 of the Regulation is amended
(a) in subsection (3) by striking out “does not exceed the number of devices prescribed in section 10” and substituting “does not exceed 75”;
(b) in paragraph (6)(b) by striking out “as prescribed in section 11” and substituting “as approved by the Corporation”.
6Subsection 10(2) of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted: 
10(2)ALC may place up to a maximum of 75 video gaming devices in an approved premises.
7Section 11 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the following: 
11(1)The amount of commission that is payable by ALC to a siteholder is an amount equal to the percentage of the net income of each video gaming device located in the siteholder’s premises that is approved by the Corporation.
(b) in subsection (2) by striking out “prescribed under” and substituting “referred to in”.
8Section 11.1 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing the portion preceding paragraph (a) and substituting the following: 
11.1ALC shall ensure that
(b) in paragraph (a) by striking out “300” and substituting “275”;
(c) in paragraph (c) by striking out “minimum of 15 to a maximum of 25” and substituting “minimum of 25 to a maximum of 75”;
(d) by repealing paragraph (d);
(e) by repealing paragraph (e) and substituting the following: 
(e) within a casino market area, not more than 400 video gaming devices are placed in approved premises.
