NEW BRUNSWICK
REGULATION 2019-18

Fish and Wildlife Act

1Section 4 of New Brunswick Regulation 84-124 under the Fish and Wildlife Act is amended
(a) in subsection (4)
(i) in the portion preceding paragraph (b) of the French version by striking out “ou un permis” and substituting “ou d’un permis”;
(ii) in paragraph (f.1)
(A) in subparagraph (i) by striking out the comma at the end of the subparagraph and substituting a semicolon;
(B) in subparagraph (i.01) by striking out “bobcat or coyote” and substituting “coyote”;
(C) by adding after subparagraph (i.01) the following:
(i.02) it is used for the trapping of bobcat, is not used in combination with a running pole set or a spring pole set and is a leg hold trap prescribed in Schedule A.2 for that wildlife species and is used under the conditions prescribed in Schedule A.2;
(b) by repealing paragraph (4.01)(c) and substituting the following:
(c) for trapping bobcat
(i) from the Saturday of the second week in November to December 31, inclusive, unless it is a killing trap prescribed in Schedule A for that wildlife species and is used under the conditions prescribed in Schedule A; and
(ii) from the first day of January to the last day in February, inclusive.
2Schedule A of the Regulation is repealed and the attached Schedule A is substituted.
3Schedule A.1 of the Regulation is repealed and the attached Schedule A.1 is substituted.
4The Regulation is amended by adding, after Schedule A.1, the attached Schedule A.2.
