1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 2002-27 under the Regional Health Authorities Act is amended
(a) in the definition “medical staff” by striking out “dental practitioners” and substituting “dental practitioners, nurse practitioners”;
(b) in the definition “privileges”
(i) in paragraph (c) of the English version by striking out “or” at the end of the paragraph;
(ii) by adding after paragraph (c) the following:
(c.1) a nurse practitioner to admit a patient to the extra-mural service program and to use the diagnostic services in a hospital facility or community health centre, or
2Section 11 of the Regulation is amended
(a) in subsection (1) by striking out “dental practitioner” and substituting “dental practitioner, a nurse practitioner”;
(b) in subsection (2) by striking out “dental practitioners” and substituting “dental practitioners, nurse practitioners”;
(c) in subsection (3) by striking out “dental practitioners” and substituting “dental practitioners, nurse practitioners”;
(d) in subsection (5) by striking out “dental practitioner” and substituting “dental practitioner, a nurse practitioner”;
(e) in subsection (7) by striking out “dental practitioner” and substituting “dental practitioner, a nurse practitioner”.
3Section 12 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “dental practitioner” and substituting “dental practitioner, a nurse practitioner”.
4Section 18 of the Regulation is amended by repealing the portion preceding paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
18A board shall advise the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick, the New Brunswick Dental Society, the Nurses Association of New Brunswick or the Midwifery Council of New Brunswick, as the case may be, and the board of the other regional health authority if
