Medical Services Payment Act

1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 84-20 under the Medical Services Payment Act is amended
(a) by repealing the definition “members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police force”;
(b) by repealing the definition “Medicare Branch” and substituting the following:
“Medicare Branch” means the Medicare Insured Services and Physician Remuneration Branch and the Medicare Eligibility and Claims Branch of the Department of Health;
(c) in subparagraph (a)(ii) of the definition “beneficiary” by striking out “4(1)(a), (b), (c) and (d)” and substituting “4(1)(a), (c) and (d)”.
2Section 4 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing paragraph (1)(b);
(b) in subsection (2) by striking out “4(1)(a), (b) or (c)” and substituting “(1)(a) or (c)”;
(c) in subsection (3) by striking out “4(1)(a), (b) or (c)” and substituting “(1)(a) or (c)”;
(d) in subsection (4) by striking out “4(1)(a), (b) or (c)” and substituting “(1)(a) or (c)”.
