1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 96-105 under the Occupational Health and Safety Act is amended
(a) by repealing the definition “individual fall-arresting system”;
(b) by adding the following definition in alphabetical order:
“fall-arresting system” means a fall-arresting system as defined in the General Regulation - Occupational Health and Safety Act;
2Section 14 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “an individual fall-arresting system, or a safety net that meets the requirements of section 50” and substituting “a fall-arresting system, or a personal safety net that meets the requirements of section 49.8”.
3Section 15 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “an individual fall-arresting system, or a safety net that meets the requirements of section 50” and substituting “a fall-arresting system, or a personal safety net that meets the requirements of section 49.8”.
4Subsection 39(2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “wears an individual fall-arresting system” and substituting “uses a fall-arresting system”.
5Paragraph 214(1)(c) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “an individual fall-arresting system” and substituting “a fall-arresting system”.
6Paragraph 215(2)(c) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “an individual fall-arresting system” and substituting “a fall-arresting system”.
7This Regulation comes into force on January 1, 2011.
