REGULATION 2009-89

Municipalities Act

1Section 5 of New Brunswick Regulation 85-6 under the Municipalities Act is repealed and the following is substituted:
5(1)The city called The City of Fredericton is continued.
5(2)A portion of the local service district of Hanwell, being an area contiguous to The City of Fredericton, is annexed to The City of Fredericton and the new territorial limits of The City of Fredericton are shown on the plan attached as Schedule 5(2).
5(3)The effective date of the annexation is August 28, 2009.
5(4)The inhabitants of the area referred to in subsection (2) continue as The City of Fredericton.
2 The Regulation is amended by adding the attached Schedule 5(2).
3 This Regulation comes into force on August 28, 2009.
