REGULATION 2008-158

Tobacco Sales Act

1Section 6 of New Brunswick Regulation 94-57 under the Tobacco Sales Act is amended by striking out “All signs” and substituting “Type A, B, C and D signs”.
2The Regulation is amended by adding after section 6 the following:
6.1A sign that is permitted under paragraph 6.5(3)(a) of the Act
(a) shall have a white background with black type,
(b) shall not exceed 10 cm by 10 cm,
(c) shall list only the types of tobacco for sale and their prices, and
(d) shall not be visible from the outside of the place or premises where the tobacco is sold or offered for sale.
3This Regulation comes into force on January 1, 2009.
